As we got sick of having Easter eggs lying around until approx July last year- we decided on a new strategy this year....Kids decorated small felt bags (FIs) and then we filled with a handful of mini eggs/small filled eggs and a Kinder egg and a crocheted chick each ( I made my target!!!). In addition they gor two large eggs apiece from rels- so a lot more manageable.......
Have been hitting the Hama Beads again in the last couple of weeks- I have been encouraging SJ towards the ideas books and free design rather than just filling in a complete board. Having said that the rabbit above is FIs (with a LOT of help) and the truck below is SJs.
Other Easterish crafts partaken in this year included egg rainbow scratch art (not cheap but always good for a quick to prepare clean craft).SJ is allegedly making his sister a set of pyjamas- very cute- he came back from a visit to the Scrapstore with a bag of various scraps of material- a lot of ex samples for curtains I think and meticulously laid them out in a body shape (forgot that they need a back as well as a front!!) and now, when he can get hold of a needle and thread, is stitching them together in a very uneven tortuous running stitch- bless.......
